Context, it's an older bike I'm using. I've tried all manner of positions for the thumb shifter and it just feels awkward to use. In first gear, it's far too high for me to pull down with my thumb. In fourth gear, I have to use the back of my thumb to shift into fifth.
I find myself constantly moving and twisting my hand to reach the shifter, how should it be positioned for ease of use?
