Hello! I'm currently in the Philippines and I wanted to come home to my family during the winter for Christmas. I'd like to ride in the snow or maybe do a tour around Canada (I live in California)

I saw this shop in the Philippines that sells a megawide rims that measures 135mm, and they claim they are the world's widest fatbike rims. They don't ship internationally so my options are limited and most likely I have to declare this as a baggage.
The local airport sucks at handling baggages and the Gen 7 models of this Mammoth Brutus bikes weigh 44 lbs with all racks included. The Gen 6 model however, is lighter due to only 105mm rims and they told me it's 16kgs in stock with no touring racks included. The Gen 7 models have a very wide frame to accomodate tires like Snowshoe 2XL. They even had a custom bottom bracket that measures 130mm. I wanted the Gen 7v2 model as it is very unique and really good looking. They have their own R&D locally and I think I heard from someone they manufacture the frames in Taiwan.

Anyone here tried travelling internationally with a fat bike? How do you deal with transporting this kind of bike?
