  1. To be honest, I don't know what to think about Trek Slash + It's kind of love/hate situation. It so lacks in ePower, but it's extremely good at downhill and almost without weight penalty (for an eBike i mean).

  2. Another great video guys well done 👏👏👏 exciting time in the industry seems to be a bit cliche but it really is, personally the Vala and the new Crafty (that want featured) are the bikes for me and the rumours that DJI are going to branch out and let some
Big brands use their motor😮 watch this space.

  3. Re the Vala – what does 'unshackled itself from limitations of VPP' mean? (obviously other than switching it out because you couldn't house the motor), deliberate phrasing?

  4. Hello, I am a gearbox developer.

Gearbox of the same shape as pinion or effigear. It started out as a bit of a hobby and recently I'm getting ready to launch a gearbox.

We developed it hoping that cyclists would use more gearboxes. Derailers have been favored for decades because they have many advantages.

However, as you know, there are many disadvantages of the derailer due to the parts exposed to the outside.

Combining the gearbox with the belt eliminates the drawbacks of the derailer.

In the meantime, various gearboxes have appeared, but they have been expensive or lack of functionality.

My gearbox was developed to solve this shortcomings. So far, we have prototyped 7S, 10S, 12S, and 15S.

I plan to sell 7S and 12S as the main products. The 7S is expected to be suitable for electric bicycles equipped with hub motors.

The 12S will work on all bikes without deficiencies. Maybe the consumer price of this gearbox is about 40% of the pinion.

I'd appreciate it a lot if you could be interested in my gearbox.

  5. So you have ebikes, or bikes with a downtube which is bent so far forward of the BB it will hit logs and wreck the frame before the log hits the chainring. Its bad design, its 2024 but 2000s bikes where much better design. I'll stick to my old Giant Trance 2006 thanks 🙂 No wonder the Bike market is in trouble.
