Yet another driver using the cycle track as an extension of the Give Way road markings. The registered keeper of the black Toyota received a letter from the police, warning them that future allegations may result in prosecution if their driving does not sufficiently improve to avoid such complaints.

In order to improve driving standards on our roads, and save lives, I believe that all drivers, including myself, should have to re-take their driving test every five years.

Rule 172 of the Highway Code:
The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You MUST give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road.
