Hello everyone, just a quick ride out to Bennerley Viaduct to check on the closure/building work on the Nottingham side of the viaduct that seems to be taking forever to complete. As you can probably guess, yes it is still closed!
It is a 28 mile ride comprising a mixture of roads & bridleways starting at Darley Abbey Park & out along the Great Northern Greenway & passing through various villages & areas looping back to the start.

Nice ride mate I did Cromford canal car park parstley hay and back very cold and it was dark pretty quick good though I have a 3000 lumen bike lights
I checked out the viaduct 2 weeks ago. The slow progress is annoying to say the least. Looks like it will never end, which seems typical of all projects these days.
Been told a landslide delayed the opening of the viaduct, next year be open hopefully
