This video is an update on the one I did back in February 2022. I had a poor-quality camera back then, but I’ve since been using a much better GoPro. I follow the towpath from Aylesbury Canal Basin to the start of the Arm at Marsworth. I have edited the footage a bit this time so it doesn’t drag on. You will see some sped-up sections for that reason. Part 2 will be coming out soon. That will feature the Wendover Arm and some never-before-seen parts of that section.

  1. Really enjoying this video, Karl as I've walked and cycled it many times over the past thirty-five or so years. I had to shut my eyes under the briges though as I always dismount! I've walked the part near Aston Clinton with a walking group and come a cropper and had to be rescued from the mud.

  2. Thank you I have enjoyed this video. I have not cycled past Red House lock for nearly a decade such is the mud. These days I come off at College Road cycle though Aston Clinton and join the Wendover Arm there.

  3. Really enjoyed your video. My parent's house In Albion Street backed on to the canal. My late husband and I decided at the end of a narrowboat holiday to spend the last couple of days travelling down the Aylesbury arm and spent the evening in our local pub The Ship before travelling back down to drop the boat off in Marsworth. Looking forward to seeing your trip down in the Wendover arm.

  4. Good video Karl, looked like a ride more suited to the summer or a least drier conditions, something I plan doing next year😊incidentally what type of drone do you use? Look forward to Part 2👍
