Today I drive with Honza across Czechia to meet the men responsible for wending the large frame components of the AZUB recumbent bike, trike and tandem frames. AZUB uses local companies in many stages of the process of making a AZUB product, and in this series of videos we are following the production of my TiFLY X from start to finish.

We also drove to Prague and picked up a TiFLY X that was being used as a promo model for reviews. So I can finally get a chance to ride one myself and get a feel for the design and capabilities.

We also learned a lot about Czechia and had some fun conversation and Chinese food along the way.

  2. My vintage saxophone "The New King made in Czech " just ofter world War ll it is a awesome vintage saxophone that no other modern saxophone manufacturer can ever make like it .so recumbent bike made in Czech migjt be definitely a good one. guaranteed !!!

  3. Really interesting to see behind the scenes at the frame manufacturing. It seems like the craftsmanship and care is above and beyond mass manufacturing. Great to see. The Ti fly is a trike im looking at as well as Ice. Matt thank you for informative and fun video👏❤💪

  4. Honza must be some long lost relative of yours. So funny when you guys stand next to each other and the fact that you have so many similar stories. Fate can be a crazy thing.

  5. Awesome to watch these guys create these beautiful frames. What an experience to see the entire process. Love the posters of women on the wall in the background. That's old school lol

  6. Those American fast food companies are everywhere aren't they. Didn't expect to see you visit one in Czech. At least Chinese food is normally little independent restaurants

  7. Matt what you are trying to say the differences betwern Tawian is mass manufacturing vs in Czechoslovakia is craftman in there trade skills in there workmanship.

  8. Will you be doing a JaYoe 3.0 video by Sept? Your 2.0 video is getting a bit long in the tooth. Loved seeing the welders, my dad was a machinist.

  9. when you did the wiggle center of balance, all the connexions of the steertube move, i know cause swithed bolts couple times, there is no thread left on the head side, try the maxxis dth tire it's great !

  10. Would like to see how Azub has provided an electrical system with a fused-protected buss – if they even do this, and a centralized controller for these accessories.

  11. Ask AZUB if they will set your trike up so that it can be easily retrofitted for belt drive. You can purchase a belt pulley adapter for your RO rear hub. The rear fork design (no wishbone) of the Tricon lends itself for a belt drive retrofit with the exception of the FAT series.

  12. LOL, Matt trying to rebrand himself and distance himself from his recent $hilling-for-foreign governments past, hoping people will forget . . .

  13. I loved this! It was so great to discover more about AZUB and Honza. My favorite part was the visit to the frame shop. I bought a Tricon about 6 years ago and it’s reassuring to see the quality and perfection of the build. I have to make some adaptations to mine soon, but I’m definitely hoping to get that padded seat!
