I have a question about the navigation please.
I listen very careful but I don't understand which App you use for.
Please could you repeat it for me?
Thx
Regards Josef
Thanks, great information for anyone planning to cycle in Spain. Looks like a beautiful country, and very bike friendly!
You the man!
Has somebody living and cycling in Europe Food costs are like everything since the supply chain and War in Ukraine are now suffering from inflation fallout .every week things cost a little more .has for wild or stealth camping be careful some parts do not allow such activities and can lead to heavy fines . This can vary within a country on a state level some allow others not.
Also restrictions may be in place because of the unprecedented hot weather and the ongoing wild fires that have taken place through out central Europe . In Germany I know for a fact for the most part Wild Camping is not allowed but their are abundant campsites and hostels or hotels that caterer for cycle tourists. I can not say what the rules are in France or Italy or Austria. Inflation in the major thing here as it is everywhere. Turkey is really suffering bad from price inflation I have read here in the German news because we have a large Turkish community who travel back and forth.
Bike parts are also suffering with many items in short supply or out of stock .I know some brands of tyres like WTB are in limited stock. Though so far Schwalbe at least here in Germany can still be found. My case in point being the near m two month search to replace my former tour / comute bike after it gave up the ghost .I only last week managed to find a replacement, I had looked at Bombtrack. Salsa .kona and so forth only to be met with out of stock in size XL or L waiting time for delivery could be as long as April 2023 . But I finally picked up a 2023 Marin Four Corners .this should arrive this week I hope.
Again price inflation as seen more of these Adventure/gravel bikes prices shoot through the roof upwards of 400 euro+.
You have a good build there Bombtrack make a good bike that is for sure, and would have been my first choice other than they are now above my planned current budget .we can not afford to pay to much out with the current worries of our food and energy cost that we will be facing over the winter months.
I think it is great what you are attempting regardless of these challenging times.
It is also a good age to do it.
I am 56 and still want to do some touring not sure about around the world but there is plenty to do just here in the major Central European nations to keep me busy.
Safe travels look forwards to more updates.
