The government has announced an overhaul of the Jobcentre, as part of plans which it says will get Britain working.
Almost three million people are estimated to be off work because of long term sickness.
Now areas with the highest levels of unemployment will get extra NHS support.

The jobs don't exist to employ a million more people.
Have they tried sacking all the staff and plugging in chat gpt. Could save a fortune. They openly admit that 100% of their job is admin. Something thats done 5000 percent better by computers. With all that money we could do mirigles and hVe some chat got credits.
St least they should try to stop pushing people down stairs and assaulting them every time they show up. Lie about and and conspire with mafia security services. Who just push people at given friction. Even when they do something. Wrong if they could just take one second to use their brain thoughts then mabde they would affer a service at all.

A guy waited for 19 hours after suffering a heart attack in wales… ambulance turned up. Turned around and went back. Said they didn’t have the time. the bloke died.
They tried to get him a lift but due to him being 6foot tall he needed help with extra vehicle support. so they sent an ambulance I don’t know much about it than that. All I know is that they failed their duty of care and a man died.

My life changed when I got a job, thanks to the staff at my local Jobcentre. The truth is not many people want to be unemployed, it's just so difficult to get a job nowadays. I hope the currently unemployed people can get out of this situation as soon as possible .

Revitalising workers pay and living standards would naturally bring people into work.
Putting pressure on large companies to pay people more in laborious jobs like warehouse working for example would do wonders.
Also tightening the laws on home conditions for example not being allowed to get away with just painting over mould and cracks then renting it out to a family.
I’ve seen people in this comment section talk about race like that’s the contributor and not location, local businesses and the individual economic state of each village, town and city.
It’s a difficult situation and labour are doing it in the “Statistics make me an expert” way. I think if they went around the country, looking at the villages, towns and cities in person for a week and saw what actually happens. Their attitude and solution may change.
But let’s see what happens, hopefully if more people come into work and pay their taxes, maybe taxes can come down a bit for everybody and more money can be spent on building prisons, hospitals, homes and revitalising the country. This is all very euphoric thinking but can’t help but hope there would be some light at the end of this.

I absolutely agree with the government. Everyone should go to work no matter what . Cheating the system taking benefits that’s not acceptable. It’s not fair some people even work two jobs and some people take benefits and stay home doing nothing. So yes well done to the government 👏
garentee no loss of pip wen u start work n most of those chronically ill wud jump at the chance t build us employment. pip is there t buffer u against extra cost of managing ur condition, removing it as soon as u step into work sets u up t fail. u end up back in hospital, signed off by dr and starting again w benifits. afez years ago last time i trie3 it set me back 10 years healthwise and put me in debt just trying t heat the house n get to apointments.
nhs closed the specialist wards for my condition so i now have nodr that can manage my condition.
i used t earn 800 a wk and loved my career and want to work. my son had to become my career so he lost his teens to it too.

Imagine a nation that helped people with their health and getting back on their feet just because it's needed on a human level. The work would follow as nobody wants to feel useless, but it always winds up about finding ways to blame people for being poor and to suggest that they're not entitled to a bit of help, like everyone should be, knowing that we all take part in our communities when we're well.
