Here is what I do know:

I spoke with Lara from Somec and she thinks this was definitely a respray due to the decals being above the paint. She also said the decals on the bike were used date from 1985-1989. She thinks the frame is from no later than 1985 and is a Colimbus Aelle frameset. Lara said the bike would have been called “Corsa” and not “Supercorsa.”

Now, when I look at the 1983 catalog, the Aelle frameset says it would come with Gipiemme drop outs. This frame has Campag drop outs front and rear.

Looking at the 1986 catalog, these decals mostly match what I have on this frame for most models. However, the frames listed here with Aelle tubing also state Gipiemme dropouts. Only the Supercorsa Victory states Campag dropouts. The other thing I am noticing is my frame does not have Somec engraved into the top of the seat stays. This is what makes me think it is from before 1986, also.

2 other bits, the seller told me the frame was Colombus brain tubing. I think this is false. And finally, the serial number on the frame and fork is F274.

Eitherway, this bike is almost ready to roll. The picture of the bike built up has a group and wheels from a 1986 Trek 560, with the exception of the BB and brakes. Still a work in progress.
