  1. By viewing the comments below, it is easy to see that this "history" is the most complicated and uncertain of any I know of. And thereby there is justification for numerous autonomous states throughout Eastern Europe. Conversely, there is no reason for "Empire" with so many different societies.

  2. A few corrections in regards to slavic mythology, Perun wasn't the supreme God, just the most wildly worshiped one, same goes for Veles. More likely ones were Svarog or Rod (Rod, whos real name is lost and just means family, is an older deity who got replaced by the worship of the individual Gods, while Svarog, being the blacksmith God is sometimes interpreted as in literally smithing the world into being, often from Rods corpse). Slavs being farmers and hunters, their main gods being one that controls the forests and one that controls weather just makes sense, seeing as those would be the ones most people prayed to. Veles himself was never portrayed as an evil God, just the guardian and personification of nature. And since the Slavs viewed the universe as one massive tree and the underworld as endless forests and meadows, it makes sense that he would be the guardian of the underworld aswell. In a lot of places in Eastern Europe the tribes would venerate Veles as their chief diety and protector (usually tribes who lived more of off hunting and herding cattle than farming), this isn't something thats done for an evil or trickster God!

  3. 7:54 This is wrong. Bog has a cognate in Sanskrit Bhaga = God of wealth. Also, Veda in Slavic means 'knowledge', same in Sanskrit, Budan means 'to be awaken', same in Sanskrit (Buda) and Jebati means 'to fuck', the same in Sanskrit etc. In general, Balto-Slavic languages are the closest to Sanskrit. Much more non-Indo-European words you will find in Greek and Latin.

  4. This video is nonsense. I was born in Poland and took an Ancestry DNA test and it showed i was 95% Polish. Us Polish people, and Slavics in general were not "mixed" and we were never a "melting pot". And you also use the term "diversity". These are propaganda terms and not accurate of us Polish people AT ALL. Calling us primitive and simple is a misnomer as well, as if living off the land is somehow disgraceful or incongruent with existing in 500BC. If you want primitive, look at Africans. Not a good video. Long live Europa and the European people. Do not fall for "mixing" with other cultures! NWO propaganda bs! This is why you should do real research and not let A.I. do all your work for you when certain people want to create certain narratives.

  7. [1]Modern national identity in Balkans started with 19th century, related to the contemporary movements in Europe during the first half of 19th century, as "the spring of the nations" 1848/49 revolutions. All these process' in surrounding countries and the growing nationalisms, both in German countries and in Hungary, made a need for standardization of language and for introduction of "people's language" to institution in Croatia. Very often is forgotten that official language in Croatian institution before 1847 was Latin: in Croatian Parliament, in Church, in education, etc. Both, Croatian and Serbian language/versions were standardized on the same dialect "new Shtokavian" but with some minor differences, as reflexion of old "iat" which is reflected as /e/ in Serbian standard and as /ije/ in Croatian; so the word "wind" in Croatian is: vjetar, and in Serbian vetar; river is in Cro: rijeka, in Serb: reka, etc. One of the crucial factors in development of national identity in Balkans was belonging to certain Church and religion: Orthodox, Catholic or Islam. There were documented cases of previously Orthodox to become Catholic and vice versa. Often this cases were because of practical reasons of everyday life (there was no priest of orthodox church in the village, so the peasants which all were illiterate didn't know what day actually is, when is Sunday, when Eastern, Christmas etc., so as I read about these cases, they were going to the closest church, what gave them some feeling of civilization). So, the people actually are mixed, if we consider mixed marriages. Hate based on nationality is stupidity. [2] And it is important to be aware that those tribal Croats who came to Roman province of Dalmatia in 7th century are not the same as modern Croats. In Croatian "origo gentis" (story/legend about origin of people) written by Byzantine emperor Konstantin Porphyrogennetos in cca. 950 AD in chapter 30 of his work "De administrando imperio" there were 7 clans in alliance and Hrovat/Horvat/Hrvat was only one of them; others were: Muhlo, Lovel, Kosentz, Kluk and two clans named after "sisters" Tuga and Buga. I found that today word "kluk" exists only in Czechia (some small, but very old villages and towns have name Kluk or Kluky) and in Czech language word "kluk" means something as: friend, young man, buddy, mate, fellow, companion, comrade). And župa Bužani was in documents from 14th century in Lika and today is Buško blato in Hercegovina, etc. This name is after the name of river Bug which springs in western Ukraina, flows as border between Belarus and Poland and then enters into Poland and flows into river Visla. Entire region around town Klagenfurt in Kärnten/Carantania (modern south Austria) of middle ages in old maps is designated as : Crowati and mentioned also in documents issued by German Ottonic dynasty from 10th century as pagus Chrouuati (today remnants of Slavic speakers there are considered as "Slovenian minority"). Also, preserved documents of episcopal church in Prague mention in second half of 10th century in east Czechia "Chrouatti et altera Chrouuatti" (Hrvati i drugi Hrvati). Today in official Czech historiography is accepted that some tribe of name Horvati was among ancestors of modern Czech people. And the most clearly attested in historical sources are the Croats/Hrvati of Kievska Rus (mentioned by chronicle of Nestor from Kiiv for period of 9th and 10th century) in area of modern west Ukraina around upper Dnister/Dniester river , in region of Galič/modern Ukrainian: Halič, to the south of city Lviv/Lavov/Lemberg (in German language) and towards Podolia region, where archaeologists in excavations from 1960-ies found traces and remains of many fortified "gorods" as Stilsko or Plisnesk which were in existence from 6th to the end of 10th century and some of them continued to exist further. Hrvati in Ukraina are considered to be "policentric protonation" (with more than one centre of power (gorods) which never became one political state, because they were subdued by Volodimir Great, duke of Kiev in 993). [3] And when it goes about Croatian name "Hrvati", it is a special story. All linguist dealing scientifically with the problem of etymology of the name Hrvat, agree that this name can not be derived by the laws of comparative linguistics from Slavic language. In other hand, it is possible to derive name Hrvat from Iranian language group. According to linguist dr. Ranko Matasović, ethnonym Hrvat comes from Alanian word "hurvatu" in meaning: guard, guardian.Alani were Sarmatic people who lived in region between Caspian and Black sea. They were semi-nomadic, equestrians, based on cattle and horses, moving around with their herds and with their families in wagons, occupied with war and hunt. During the Hun invasion parts of Alans moved westward to Ukraina and further to central Europe. In some documents about general Odoaker (who removed from imperial throne Romulus Augustus in 476 AD) it is said that he among his troops have had "exercitum Alani", an army of Alanic equestrians. Some Alani went in alliance with Vandals to Hispania. So, it is possible that some group of Alani merged themselves with Slavic population in Ukraina as a ruling class, and gave their name "Hrvati" (guard, guardians) to Slavic speaking population. In Poland, in Poznań, in documents from 14th century, "charwat" was the name of city guard. In this case as profession. And Alani that stayed between Black sea and Caspian to the north of Caucasus, founded state "Kingdom of Alania", which was destroyed in military and in demographic sense by Mongol invasion in 13th century. All what remained of them are modern Ossetians, now in Russian federation. My research through the last names showed that last name "Horvat" in Russia today has the highest concentration in Kazan in Tatarstan on Volga in north and in Kabardin Republic in south (Caucasus region), what are regions on the fringes and in neighbourhood of ancient Alania. That is history.
[4] Modern Croatian identity and Croatian state in general is based on existence of state from early middle ages (period of Croatian kings from 9th to the end of 11th century) and then autonomous Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia from 1102 in personal union with Hungary; union was personal through the person of the same king and the coronation was in beginning, in Arpad period with two separate crowns; from 1527 Croatian Parliament elected Ferdinand of Habsburg for king (document still exists) until the October of 1918. And this is difference between Serbian history and Croatian, because during the 15th century Serbian state cease to exist. And for three centuries Serbs were people without state (until 19th century). Only institution that remained and preserved national identity was "Srpska Pravoslavna Crkva" (Serbian Orthodox Church), which was allowed by Ottoman authorities. In 19th century started the revival of Serbian nation in accordance with modern western concepts of nation. Serbian intellectuals as Vuk Stefanović Karadžić considered that concept of nation is based on language in first place( tako zvana "jezična nacija"): "the language nation", what was then modern in Europe, especially coming from German philosophers as Herder etc. (spirit and soul of the nation seen in language). In other side, Croats didn't accept this model because in 19th century they still had their political traditions of kingdoms "Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia". Croats were "political nation" rooted in historical tradition and continuity of institutions, what was evident in existence of Croatian Parliament (Sabor) and in tradition of "ban" (military and political leader proposed by Parliament and approved by king). Even in the period of the peak of Turkish Ottoman conquest in second half of 15th century and during the 16th century, the 1/3 or 1/4 of Croatia remained free under Croatian Parliament and ban and Habsburg's king (Habsburgs were elected by Croatian Parliament so they were legitimate rulers). After the great war (1683 to 1699) in which modern Slavonia was liberated from Ottomans and in some other wars in first half of 18th century conducted by Republic of Venice against Ottomansin Dalmatia, the borders of Croatia were established and those borders stayed since then till today with smaller corrections. Serbian people, in other way, achieved their autonomy only in first half of 19th century through revolt and fight against Ottoman Turks. Serbian state existed only as historical memory in distant past: empire of emperor Dušan in 14th century, battle in Kosovo polje in 1389. Instead of continuity of institution of the state (as it was case in Croatia) Serbian people had only memory and legend. And they have had (and still they have) wish for greatness: To make Serbia great again! And this time they had new argument in process of making modern Serbian nation. It was the language: all people speaking in Shtokavian dialect are clearly Serbs! What else they could be? But the Croats had totally different opinion: in Croatian mind the political and historical tradition of the state was more important than the language argument and principle. Even more because the people who identified themselves as Croats in first half of 19th century spoke 3 different languages: Kaikavian in north-west around Zagreb and Varaždin, Shtokavian in all other regions (in Slavonia and Dalmatia) and with Chakavian remnants especially in Istria and in Adriatic islands and in cities on the coast. So, in year 1847 Croatian Parliament accepted Croatian language, based on Shtokavian as the most widespread and with tradition of literature, especially based on works of Ivan Gundulić (epic Osman) as official language of the country.

  8. Slavs didn't come from Vistula River, but from Helm, where they have created slavic Vinća civilization in 5508BC,and the slavic aryan calendar. And it's proven, that slavs lives in Europe for 10700 years,or since 8676BC.And one greatest emperor, who has created greatest world empire, was Nino Belov from serbian Vinća civilization in 2025BC.Who has created Vavilon, and empire from Europe to India.

  9. First migration of slavic aryans to India was in 3500BC from Poland,so lets that be clear, that only true aryans, are slavic aryans. And Sanskrit isn't India's thing,it's slavic thing.Becouse Sanskrit is combination of two slavic words,San=Dream and Skriti=To Hide. And Sanskrit is written in slavic Ka'Runa, and content of slavic Sanskrit was stories from Russia, and other slavic customs.

  10. Term "Indo European" was created in 19th century, when few historians have noticed similar words in Slavic,European, and Indian Language. And thouse words aren't "Indo European",they are slavic words.

  11. Veles is god of cattle hearders social class, and theirs protector. And people named after Veles are Vlasi, who are Serbs from Helm.Veles as god is portraited as man covered in animal fur coat, who wears head cover made of cow's skull. And Romanians are spreading lies, that Vlasi are Wlachi, when Vlah is single man,and Vlahinja is single woman. And they are Serbs from Serbia,so lets that be clear.

  12. Oldest slavic religion goes back to neolithic Europe, and oldest slavic religion whos name we know,is slavic vedic religion.Or Slavenska Vedska Vera, and christian and egyptian religions, are based on slavic vedic religion.

  13. Slavs did build stone temples, few of them are in Yucatan,Bolivia, and Peru. And oldest sun temple, wich was builded in Egypt, was build by Vinća Slavs, when slavs has reached Egypt.Termal steam bath was also builded by the slavs, since slavic Vinća civilization.

  14. Talking about slavic migration,in 3500BC,when Slavs has migrated to India,it was 20.000 Slavs in that migration. And after 4000 years, slavic population in India, has reached 100.000.000 Slavs. But migration of Slavs to Helm in 7th century AD,has never happened.Becouse then,in slavic migration to Helm,a 2.500.000 Slavs would have to migrate in theirs horse wagons.

  15. Name Celt comes from slovakian Kelci, and russian Skotami.Kelci is slovakian term for blacksmith, and Skotami is russian term for cattle hearders. Thus Celts or more correctly Kelti, are Slavs. And Ranka Ruić,has find proof for that.

  16. Pagan is latin word for Dirty, and Cyrill didn't "educated" slavs in literacy, becouse slavs was literate since Vinća civilization. And one of oldest slavic scripture is Srbica, wich was found on "Xhanthos monolith",or Likijski Zakonik. And scripture wich people know as "Pheonician scripture",is serbian Srbica scripture. And on stone of Likijski Zakonik,it's incarbed over 100 rules, regulations, advices in medicine, advices in cooking, old wisdom, and how to choose leader. And Likijski Zakonik was real 10 comandments,3000 years before catholics has invented 10 comandments.
