Spanning 30,000 kilometres from Prudhoe Bay in Alaska to Ushuaia in Argentina, the Pan-American Highway is the world’s longest road.

It connects North and South America. Except….for a dense impenetrable jungle on the Panama-Colombia border. This is the Darién Gap. Known locally as El Tapón or the “The Plug”, this is the only land bridge between the Americas. This 106 kilometres break in the Pan-American Highway of dense jungle is one of the last great untamed places on earth, one of the world’s most biodiverse places, an incredibly beautiful piece of nature, but to those passing through it is…

  1. Nicaraguan here. And thank you for explaining to people that we don’t come here just to mooch off America. How people acting that way after going through all the bullshit with America starving us over “communism” we go to a new environment taking risks and people are mean af. I wish Americans saw this video man.

  2. 21:15 Imagine surviving the jungle just to be asked nonsense political questions. welcome to the west. we all have our own agendas, we don't give a fuck about you – but we won't leave you the fuck alone.

  3. I cried when the woman spoke about losing her husband. She spoke so highly of him she must have loved him so deeply and I can’t imagine losing my husband like that. I wish people realized that making it harder to immigrate finds the drug cartels everyone screams so damn much about. It’s a never ending cycle.

  4. What do you think of Shariah law..what do you think of Christian and Jewish people…seriously!!? this part left me speechless .. white man ruins their country then they complain about migrants.. the west is the source of worlds suffering. Period

  5. Funny enough you don’t show Italy in the trade routes when Italian republics and banks were probably one of the most actives in the trade. Cliches and lack of historic Knowledge. Panama was even for a short period Genoese because Spain wasn’t able to pay the debts : yea, the Italian payed most of the Spanish trip to America (named after a Venetian, Amerigo Vespucci).

  6. All of this is a direct consequence of Joseph Robinette "We export democracy!" Biden's extremely cruel foreign policy. It's breathtaking how callous and indifferent he and his administration has been to the suffering of people outside the United States.

  7. You're showing your corrupt association with the Mayorcas and company
We all know the reason they are stampeding to the US is to receive welfare and spoils in return for ILLEGALLY VOTING

  8. Imagine making that horrific trip and some dumb poorly informed US journalist wants to ask you BS about Shariah law because you are from Somalia. Yeah because this virtually nobody guy who made this trip makes the religious laws and enforces them back home.

  9. I think this video is blaming the policies in place to stop migration for the dangerous trip. What’s the alternative? Open up the boarders and provide plane tickets for anyone who wants to enter the US?
