This is Episode 6, of my spectacular tour of the ‘Picos, Portugal & Pyrenees’ in Sept 2024.

The tour was organised by myself for the membership of the motorcycle club – www.pemc.co.uk. and the trip was attended by 20 PEMC motorcycle club members.

For anyone looking for a great motorcycling club, the PEMC has about 300 members, mostly based in the UK, who enjoy a wide variety of well-priced events and trips based around the UK & Europe.

——————————————————————————————
THE COST OF THIS TOUR –
As the PEMC motorcycle club is essentially ‘non-profit’ and to keep costs realistic, these trips are ‘self guided’ only.
In Sept 2024, these were the costs per person for 14 nights Dinner, B&B in quality hotels.
Single Room – £2,009
Sharing Room – £1,426
(Excluding any ferry or Euro Tunnel costs, lunches, fuel etc).

Episode Six is the penultimate video, covering days 12 and 13 of this tour.

Day 12 ~ We rode East from the Parador Alcaniz, 172 miles across a fabulous mixture of roads, to our overnight Hotel Sol I Vi, near Subirats, located North of Barcelona.

Day 13 ~ On this day, we rode 205 miles on one of my twistiest routes ending in the Pyrenees. We started with a fabulous ride via the spectacular Montserrat Mountains, which are located North of Barcelona. My route ended high in the Pyrenees, at the Hotel Tryp Bacqueira, in the ski town of Vielha.

Best viewed on a TV, as it’s been filmed in HD but ensure your YouTube settings are set to the best visual quality available (1440/60).

  1. Good advice to get new rubber fitted before heading off on a trip. Thought I would get away with another trip before a chance back in May and when stopped to get ferry home noticed a serious bald spot on my rear. Enjoyed the video,

  2. Cheers Paul, yet another great video of your trip and have really enjoyed following your journey and need to do one or two next year before I get too old, 😀 just trying to find European travel insurance suitable to ride bikes over 125cc for next year
