  1. I love Monique and her love for life. Please let us know about the pending nuptials so we can save the date. Congrats and thank you for another Joyus video.

  2. Brian, this is the most fascinating vlog on YouTube! It’s relaxing, entertaining, fabulous scenery, great 🎶 music, great food and coffee. In fact everything I love about life, including meeting new people and eating delicious foods. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all, all 36 of us ❤❤❤❤

  3. Active/dormant/extinct volcanoes (did seismology at uni). Without consciously trying I've been lucky enough to climb a volcano on every continent, incl Stromboli.

  4. As usual, Brian, great drone footage and a great excursion. Brilliant music to go with it! Very George Thorogoodesque 👌👍Nice for you to meet Monique, and nice for Monique too! Would loved to have heard a bit of her story 😊💜

  5. You need a bike rack for the back of your car. Thanks for explaining about courgettes. Reading comments helped figure that out. People get buried alive in rock falls from Scree, Brian. You better be careful because we'd miss seeing you every day. What beautiful views from the top and the whole ride through the woods.

  6. I look forward to seeing the announcement of your nuptuals, Brian! LOL. The talkie bits of your videos are much, but not all of what I enjoy about your channel. I absolutely loved you talking to that old lady. It's great talking to complete strangers we might never see again. They are a true and welcome gift for me. I've had the best conversations with them about all sorts of things. You might have been the highlight of her year without realizing it. We old people don't often get to talk to anyone, sometimes for weeks, so we take that pleasure glady when we can. You should take to being a reporter, talking to people on the street everywhere you go. You have a way about you that this would suit you well. I would've liked hearing your full conversation with you translating in english for we who are not fluent in french. They would get to talk to us that way, too, if they want. Its one thing to see the sights, but what we rarely get to see and hear is the interaction you have with the French people themselves. We used to have a wildly popular tv show in the US called Real People. Many missed it so much that this guy named Mike Rowe did a show called Dirty Jobs, introducing the world to everyday good, honest, warm hearted people who do the dirty jobs so people like us don't have to. To make it even more entertaining, he did those dirty jobs the viewers challenged him to do. He and his camera crew were hilarious. The French have been complaining lately about english from all over, coming to live in France. It would be nice to see their lives as they are now before they become a melting pot like the US is right now in places. Seeing that lovely barn's inside structure was great. I've got a love of post and beam construction like that. Some of Dan's roofing is that style, isn't it? I enjoy everything you show us, Brian, but today eased my heart, thinking you must be so lonely being single. Being single, as my son told me, it's not good to be shut off from others. We old people don't have many opportunities to socialize anymore, so do it while you still can. I love seeing you giving love and hugs to that black puppy at Dan's. More of that, please. You are doing a great job with these videos. I encourage you to do even more. I could watch and listen to longer videos of yours with no problem. I think most of your viewers feel the same way.

  7. Hi Brian. Today’s show was very relaxing to watch. Thank you for taking us with you on this adventure. I wanted to ask if I may how old you are and what is your main occupation? I’ve often wondered while watching shows what it is you do. I’ve asked myself is he an architect or an engineer or a mountaineer? Because you are very active and an interesting person. Thank you for the vlogs you share.

  8. The BBC news app had an article yesterday about a new cycling trail that opened in July 2024. Called the Trans Dinarica Cycling Trail. It connects 8 Balkan Countries. Seems quite off the beaten path, so to speak. Something you might be interested in?

  9. Very nice! Saw the Ferris Wheel. The Ferris wheel was introduced during the 1893 Worlds Fair in Chicago. It had 40 cars…each holding about 60 people. Made of wood. It was massive. Enjoy!
