  1. This is funny ..did my first gravel bike pack ride a few weeks back on Dartmoor and headed up that same hill to Warren hill pub at end of the day..had Rabbit Pie in pub instead of cooking and wild camped half a mile away as couldn't face another hill.. glad to hear you said some was steep..great vid crofty

  2. Loved riding over dartmoor.

Riding UP dartmoor on a loaded touring bike, not so much.

Very fond memories of coming down the other side. A decent that went on for miles through beautiful sunlit woodlands. A glorious emerald cathedral.

Really need to get out on the tourer again.

  3. When I watch the two of you together it looks like so much fun. You're laughing and just enjoying the ride as well as each other's company. I think to myself that looks like great fun. I wish I could join you. Then I come to the realization that I hate camping. I'm more of a hotel guy. It is interesting to see the gear. You really make it look like a great time. Love these videos. Keep it up!

  4. The Kookaburra and the Nightingale!
Two feisty birdies out on a quest to conquer the Moors!!

Juliet, she did draw up the perfect route for you, didn't she Katie K?
I will say I am awestruck by the beauty of some the segments we've seen; those rocks were otherworldly! Safe to say they rocked !
    😁 🗿

11:10 right there, battle of the hats! Also, the ideal snapshot to condense the whole trip down to a single frame: you really did have an exquisite time together ! =] =)
    😊👋

  5. Great entertaining video. I have wild camped on Dartmoor last year. One thing, it looked like a field used for livestock. Do ensure there's no cattle in the field, especially if just in a bivvy! 13:45

  6. Hammock camping is also super lightweight, and you’re up off the damp ground.
    Worth checking out.
You’ll sleep like a baby too.

    Great vid!!
