Twenty-four-year-old #Frenchrunner, #ÉtienneDaguinos, won the #UrbanTrail de #Lille on Saturday, November 16, which is a 10-kilometre road race. To his surprise, he also set a new #europeanrecord with his finish time of time of 27 minutes and 4 seconds. The performance betters the previous record of 27:07, a record set in Lille, #France earlier in the year by fellow Frenchman #JimmyGressier.
On October 27, #Daguinos ran the #ValenciaHalfMarathon in a time of 59:46 to set a new #personalbest. His 5000m best is 13:19.77. Surely, he will be ready by spring of 2025 to run sub-27 and sub-13 over the two distances, respectively. In October 2023, Daguinos represented France in the 5km #WorldRoadRunning #Championships, where he acquitted himself well finishing in sixth place.

This Saturday, November 16, the #10km of the #UrbanTraildeLille 2024 took place! A Frenchman made his mark, since #ÉtienneDaguinos (24 years old) won and took the opportunity to beat the European 10 km road record, in 27:04. It lowers the reference time by three seconds, held by #JimmyGressier in 27:07. Daguinos lowered his personal best by 45 seconds!
