  1. Hello, I've heard of hitchhiking ghosts before but to have a cheap story about a person's alleged ghost in being g the person is just wrong, no responsibility in reporting just a pathetic plot to sale papers 😢😢

  2. There was girl murdered. And was found decomposing this dates back long before the accident with the car crash some people believe the ghost could be the ghost of Emily twigg

  4. Marie Ruhr died in a crash in South Africa. This was dramatised on the Strange But True series. She has often been seen hitchhiking, perhaps trying to fulfil and complete her journey. Therefore there is a correlation between accidents, ghosts jumping in front of cars and ghost hitchikers

  5. This girl a spirit needs help to pass on in to white light? please send spiritual person who can help and others who understand from Tommy*may my ❤gos with her rest in peace

  6. There is also a ghost of a young woman who haunts the creepy roads around Stamford on Soar in the East Midlands. A family friend whilst working as an apprentice electrician saw her pass in front of his car in the 60s. Also the stately home in the area is haunted.

  7. This whole area of Kent is steeped in cultural & spiritual hidtory. Wat Tyler led the Peasants Revolt in 1381 from Maidstone. Large spiritualist groups have settled there, presumably to escspe persecution from larger towns.

I house sat for soneone in a nearby tiny village there about 22 years ago. The family who lived there were urgrently called by the hodpital as one of their close relatives was unexpectedly gravely ill from an infection after her operation. Sadly she passed awsy from it in the early hours. I offered to look sfter the couple's dog and cat.

When I entrred their house, the cat bolted out. I was consumed with worry and after a couple of hours found her & brought her back in. The cat behaved strangely and the dog would suddenly stop what he was doing and sit bolt upright & stare.

I heard unmistakable footsteps soon after I saw the inexplicable behaviour of the dog & cat in the house. They were coming from upstairs. I went up there & found myself looking at a long, lage landing and a big window to the attic on my left. In the attic was an old setee suspended on large hooks. It started rocking backwards & forwards. I panicked and turned round to go back downstairs. I felt someone behind me. The floorboards behind me were creaking to indicate someone was on them. I knew both pets were downstairs as I had closed the door.

I went downstairs & comforted the dog, a collie, who was agitated & whining. Then the dog stared towards the stairs & i followed its gaze. I heard distinct footsteps walking down the stairs.

Then it felt calmer & I left the house when I felt the pets were ok & settled down to sleep.

I explained what had happened to an elderly neighbour a couple of days later. He told me that when he was a young boy there, that house was a shop. It was big for a village too. People even bought clothes from there. Hence the attic was so odly placed. They stored shop stock there back in the day. The building had fallen into disrepair and the couple who I house sat for were renovating it bit by bit. Apparently this had heightened strange activity there.

I felt like I was being constsntly watched there. I kept talking to myself and the pets to try to ease the atmosphere.

Another time, years later, I was driving by Maidstone Prison. Suddenly a man in very old prison uniform was infront of my car while I was driving. I was able to break as I was driving fairly slowly. He leaned over the car bonnet, looked at me through the windscreen. Said his name was George and that he was not guilty of what he was in prison for. Then he calmly walked away & disappeared into the prison ragstone perimeter wall. The encounter was very fast. It was about 9pm & the area was quiet at that time.

  8. most curious about this..several people have given her a lift home and the home owner apparently knew of it, saying it had happened several times and stated the girl had died years earlier…so who was the girl, what was the address and why hasn't THAT information been checked out and confirmed?

  9. News Flash: many people in different parts of Earth speak English. All pronunciations of actual words that differ only due to regional accents are correct and proper.

  10. This basic story is told all over the world. Young girl in white hitch hiking and near a cemetery. Sometimes its after an event, like a school dance. Man picks up ghost only for her to disappear before she gets to her family home. We have this story in America in many places over a period of time.Just Google " The womanin white" . Im sure youll find this is all over.

  11. I was on a bike ride round Bearpark, Co Durham, with my wife. As we rode over the fields we came across a gaggle of people on old fashioned clothes. I jokingly asked where the battle was, but received no reply or reaction. It was when we stopped for a break I asked my wife what she thought of our encounter. She said she hadn't seen anyone! I believe, by the morose look and general demeanour of this group, they were somehow camp followers of the defeated Scots army from the battle of Neville's Cross and I had entered a timeslip, or seen their ghosts.

  12. My sister and her husband had just come back from the army base in Hamelin in Germany in the late 1970s. They were based in Maidstone and they saw this apparition on Bluebell Hill
