They made it too long and hard this year so everyone is saving their energy and waiting for just the right time instead of racing like last year. Last year it was so much fun to watch. This year it's boring as hell.
Stage 4 will take its toll, then a lot of changes will come up. Tactics would play a lot after stage 3.
No offence, but tell me is womens bike racing is as bad as womens football? Or maybe it's more entertaining than mens Tour De France?
Maybe next year a man can win the race in a show of inclusivity and solidarity with transexuals.

Why there was a 2 second gap from 9th place? It was a flat sprint. Same Stage in men race they would all considered as one Group
