I sometimes wonder if half this chap's skill is in knowing which kind of grease to use in every situation. There's premium grease, copper grease, silicon grease, general purpose grease… it's bewildering!
a Christmas miracle
Another great job
In US dollars, what does a job like this cost? Keep up the good work.
a build in derailleur hanger in a 7005 aluminium frame. I thought they only exist on cheap frames…
I think this your best one yet. Truly rescued it from the scrap pile though I think your bill will be more than a bike like this is worth
Lovely bike.
It makes me happy to see perfectly fine bikes being brought back to top form. Good for the owner, good for the environment and good for the shop. Done is less time than it would take to just service the headset bearings on an internal cabled bike or in the time it takes to bleed the brakes #bikesarenowstupid
How do you clean very dirty wheel (hub and spokes) without removingthe spokes? Its for a old peugeot course bike
Need more grease!
Amazing restoration!
Another bike saved and looking spiffy 😊. You guys are what gives professionals a good name.
Epic. Great job as usual
Impressed with the rear hub work, thank you.
Love your vids! Btw how do you polish/shine a matte/doff frame?
A freehub sound check would be nice at the end 2
Extraordinary professionalism and attention to detail.
It's so cozy watching those restoration videos. What a great job!
This is a work of love, this felt more like a resurrection than a restauration!
Out of curiosity how much did you charge for all this work??
Nice to watch you at this restauration job
Breath new life in an old Bike, awesome detail job, 90% of people don't need a new bike, just service the one they already have. 🚲🚲🚲
I hope your tetanus shots are up to date 😬
We have this thing where we're particular over who we leave our dog with, this is like the same thing
What is the stuff you use to wash all the pieces in the bowl? It comes out looking amazing
Wish he'd light oil those cables when he installs them. The oil will lubricate and keep the air away from them for awhile longer preventing them from rusting and jamming.
Hi, love your videos❤
Pls keep the work up.
How do you know how much torque to apply for each part?
What’s not to like about this vid. Cheers mate lovely job.
Looks like the chain is a little short on the final rebuild and i'd have trimmed the gear cables because they seem to cross the centerline of the bike due to excessive length… But cant remember what my Trek 2300 cables looked like. Overall, an amazing job!
Hi, nice video. can you name the tool you use for opening the freewheel of the rear hub? Thanks. Keep on detailing!
Sure the big chain ring have been used with a chain beyond the point of 0.75. DON'T REUSE!
Superb finishing to that bike!
Beautiful job 😊
Just found a very rusted Triumph of a similar style in buried in a field. Thanks for this video, I hope to get her rolling again and will have this on repeat!
I find that it's these vintage bikes that are the most satisfying to watch them being brought back to life. I wouldn't hesitate to have a blast on that one….❤
OMG.. He said how this bike was ready to ride for years at the end. And there are no PEDALS! He forgot the PEDALS!
Very nice
Where can I get a new bottom bracket for my 1978 UO8? I’m having trouble figuring out which bracket I need and then where to get it.
Hi, I've only just found your excellent channel. I've two old Peugeot cycles I would like to restore, one is a 'professional line'. I have an ultra sonic cleaner, but it never seems to get things that clean. What solution do you use in your cleaner please. Thanks in advance.
Great. I have an old Peugeot and anold Dawes. Did you not put new wheel axle cones on?
Extremely well done! Don't know what I enjoy more, the mechanical refurbishing or the soothing voice over. Beautiful restoration.
Wonderful job. I would have liked having the front brake on the left lever. Makes the cable flow even better. But thats just my taste. Looking forward to the next video
Wow! French guy here. I would love to own and ride that Peugeot Pulse. What a nice machine! Excellent job.
What happened to the spider nest, I wonder? Shame to turn them out into the cold at Christmas… 😢
On a positive note, I’m a big fan of the way you shoot your videos: not overly long, detailed where it counts, well narrated with genuinely informative explanations, giving forgotten rides some well-deserved TLC and the rest of us some inspiration. Great work, guys, thank you all.
