  1. I sometimes wonder if half this chap's skill is in knowing which kind of grease to use in every situation. There's premium grease, copper grease, silicon grease, general purpose grease… it's bewildering!

  2. It makes me happy to see perfectly fine bikes being brought back to top form. Good for the owner, good for the environment and good for the shop. Done is less time than it would take to just service the headset bearings on an internal cabled bike or in the time it takes to bleed the brakes #bikesarenowstupid

  3. Breath new life in an old Bike, awesome detail job, 90% of people don't need a new bike, just service the one they already have. 🚲🚲🚲

  4. Wish he'd light oil those cables when he installs them. The oil will lubricate and keep the air away from them for awhile longer preventing them from rusting and jamming.

  5. Looks like the chain is a little short on the final rebuild and i'd have trimmed the gear cables because they seem to cross the centerline of the bike due to excessive length… But cant remember what my Trek 2300 cables looked like. Overall, an amazing job!

  6. Just found a very rusted Triumph of a similar style in buried in a field. Thanks for this video, I hope to get her rolling again and will have this on repeat!

  7. I find that it's these vintage bikes that are the most satisfying to watch them being brought back to life. I wouldn't hesitate to have a blast on that one….❤

  8. Hi, I've only just found your excellent channel. I've two old Peugeot cycles I would like to restore, one is a 'professional line'. I have an ultra sonic cleaner, but it never seems to get things that clean. What solution do you use in your cleaner please. Thanks in advance.

  9. Wonderful job. I would have liked having the front brake on the left lever. Makes the cable flow even better. But thats just my taste. Looking forward to the next video

  10. What happened to the spider nest, I wonder? Shame to turn them out into the cold at Christmas… 😢
On a positive note, I’m a big fan of the way you shoot your videos: not overly long, detailed where it counts, well narrated with genuinely informative explanations, giving forgotten rides some well-deserved TLC and the rest of us some inspiration. Great work, guys, thank you all.
