Like in 2021 during the Tokyo Olympics, the internet is wondering: are the cardboard beds set up for athletes in the Olympic village really designed to discourage them from having sex?

  1. The truth is knowing builders, they recomended cardboard beds cause its the cheapest option. Tens of thousands of athletes coming in means lots of beds and money. Cardboard is the cheapest to get away with. They also took out air conditioning cause thats lots of money and if you seen the sizes of rooms there putting 2 people in the size of a small baby room. There spending lots of money building the stadiums and making it look good so they want to save money where its behind the scenes and people wont know. Also you dont need a soft bed for sex …. You can even do it on the floor or on a wall or even standing up specially for fit athletes

  3. The beds are terrible. These great young people are Olympic athletes . Rest number one restorative. Make it the best experience of the young peoples lives, quit making everything about politics.

  4. I find these anti-sex beds funny considering the Olympic organizers also supplied 300,000 condoms to the Olympic Village. These condoms came in little packages complete with the mascot on them and even a cute little slogan saying “Don’t share more than victory: protect yourself against STDs”. Another little fun fact is at the Sydney games in 2000 they provided 70,000 condoms and the athletes exhausted the supply about 2/3 of the way through the games. They had to bring in an emergency shipment of another 20,000 and even then they said it just wasn’t enough.

  5. It's funny that if an underdeveloped country came up with this mess no one would believe the eco friendly excuse, we would just be deamed incompetent and we would receive a lot of criticism.
