ℹ A Class 755 ‘FLIRT’, operated by Greater Anglia, passes by with a Lowestoft to Ipswich service. The crossing’s official name is “Wenhaston” (after a village several miles away, when in reality this is just outside Halesworth!). Unfortunately, the road doesn’t seem to have a name on any map I’ve checked. This is another one of the numerous crossings on this line that used to be an AOCL until about 10 years ago. And like most of the other twin-track ones, it seems to have retained its “another train coming” light. A convenient cycle path leading to Halesworth town centre starts on the left.
