This bike trip was our first time taking our camping gear to a camp ground. it was almost 40 kilometers away and more difficult than we thought it would be. We had to take the old road which took us up through the hills. The campground was fantastic and recommend it to anyone visiting the island. The swimming pool is perfect and they have a taverna at the campground which makes it great. We had great weather it was in July. We didn’t film the return trip but it was almost the same except on the way home to Chania we took the highway instead of the old road that meandered through the hills.
