A classic wonderful Sustrans Route – The Granite was is part of NCN 27 and EuroVelo 1. @SustransLibrary
Join Sarah on a early Autumn ride along the disused railway line between Okehampton and Lydford in Devon. Right on the edge of Dartmoor.
Details:
We stayed in @DartmoorNationalPark and the Granite Way is an 11 mile ride and is absolutely stunning. Mainly traffic free and relatively easy.

Have you ridden this route?
Well done. Lovely scenery, great commentary. You and the Go-Pro make a good team. Love that totally unbiased review of your wheels. To be hypercritical, we don’t need to see you when you are chatting away. But I do enjoy your chats; creeping yourself out by remembering campfire scary stories on Dartmoor, just lovely. Where is Paul when you need him. Please keep these “outings” coming; they are so enjoyable. PS. I noticed the first viaduct had a double fence to make it difficult to launch yourself into the cosmos, whereas the second viaduct had wee stools to assist with the process. Moral of the story, choose your launch pad carefully. A bit of ‘interpretation’ of viaducts and other features would be the icing on the Chelsea bun. Thank you Sarah for taking time out of your holiday to film and process this beautiful ride.
