In 2022, Meg Jacoby discovered the sport of HYROX. Just two years later, in June 2024, Jacoby stood on top of the podium in Nice, France, and became the HYROX World Champion. As a former NCAA Division I runner, she’s spent more than a decade training to become one of the best endurance athletes in the world.

While Meg and I discussed how she became a world champ, we dove deeper into how winning goes beyond training fitness. We discussed her plans to move to Cyprus with partner Benjamin Burkhardt, how she left a stable job to go all in as an athlete, and how she’s changing the body image culture in sports.

  1. On the DJI mic you have to change the audio settings from "mono" to "stereo"
This is also something you could have done in post so the audio doesnt come from two seperate speakers during the conversation.
