MEANWHILE IN GERMANY, inside a double-decker DB BAHN, while waiting for our train’s departure.

Here’s a glimpse insdie this beautiful double-decker train that’s very common in Germany.

During this trip, it was a busy train but we still managed to have our own seats.

In regional DB bahns, there are no seat reservations required in the class 2 compartments. If you have trouble finding a seat, just move to the next cabins and surely, there are seats available most of the time. However, during the summer season when schools are already closed and students are already free, expect the trains to be crowded – yes, to the point of you have to stand – so try to catch the trains early to have your seats, or reserve a seat in the Class 1 compartment, ortake the ICE trains that are reserved-seats only.

Happy trotting. Enjoy!
