About Bergen:
Bergen is a beautiful city and municipality in Vestland county on the west coast of Norway. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway after the national capital Oslo. The city centre is called ‘the city fjord’. The city is surrounded by mountains, causing Bergen to be called the “city of seven mountains”. Bergen has a mild winter climate, though with significant precipitation. In summer, Bergen is several degrees cooler than Oslo due to the same maritime effects.
