After asking about this ‘Trek’ Bike, I got curious and bought it. It was 100 bucks. A nice Swiss lady sold it to me. (She said she also bought it used from someone in Switzerland) Basically after riding it, I was sure. This bike is too high quality for a ‘fake’. It shifts like butter, the breaks are amazing and the suspension works great. Even the kick stand has a good quality. And the seat has a suspension (?).
After looking at the stand I suspected and realised that this bicycle is a Cresta bike (Swiss made / swiss brand). Its quite expensive, so I’m not sure why someone would recolor as Trek. I am still not sure but I place my bets that this is an older Cresta Veloce. (New this one probably went for like 2000 bucks. perhaps 7 years ago. I put some references in the post.
Either Way an interesting Bicycle with what seems to be an interesting story.
