At 7pm on March 1st 2006, police and volunteers in Bury, Greater Manchester began searching for Joe Geeling. The popular 11-year-old boy, who suffered from Cystic Fibrosis, was missing. He was last seen outside the school gates. At 10.30am the following morning, Joe’s body was found in Whitehead Park. He had been bludgeoned and stabbed to death. His killer? Fellow pupil, 14-year-old Michael Hamer.

  1. I've seen evil in much younger children than this kid was. And I don't work with children. So yes, evil exists no matter the age, gender, culture, country, race or religion. I really believe that sometimes some people just come to this world with that in their genes, whatever is a mental issue or something else

  2. If she covers American kids, I think she should take a look at Joseph Hall, poor kid had Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, anger management issues, and he had Intellectual Disability, and to make things worse, His dad was an abusive, alcoholic skinhead and his dad’s the “human” he killed.

  3. Jo that was so sad to listen to. Condolences to the Geeling family and friends. May Joe RIP. 15years is still a total joke. As I am watching this Michael has already been released which is so sad
