In this episode, we ride from Carlisle to the stunning Loch Lomond and then onto Crieff, where we stay at Scotland’s best B&B IMHO. Along the way, we hit some torrential rain, which ruined a bit of the footage, but the trip itself was still a great start to the adventure.

We passed by the famous Loch Lomond, which marks the start of the Scottish Highlands and is home to over 30 islands. Even with the bad weather, it’s a view that shouldn’t be missed. Further down the road, we rode past Loch Earn, another beautiful spot in the Highlands. Unfortunately, some of the drivers on the road were speeding like crazy, which kept things interesting

After a long day of riding, we arrived in Crieff, where we stayed at the amazing Merlindale B&B. The host made us feel right at home with a dram of whisky and homemade shortbread—the perfect way to end the day.

Despite the rain and the hectic drivers, it was an awesome first leg of the journey.

I filmed everything using the Sena 50C camera and intercom system, with all footage shot in 4K. The soundtrack is live—what we were listening to during the ride—so nothing has been edited or added later. Apologies….
