I’ve had my Jasion step- through for a month now. I love it. Great for commuting, exploring and long rides. I have one bad problem though. When I stop at intersection or get off my bike at the end, the bike will just take off. Not touching the throttle and the pedal assist is set at 1 or higher, the motor goes on and takes off. If I grab the handlebars quickly and squeeze either brake, it stops. It happens 2-3 times a day. It is similar to the “walk” mode, where you press a button and it slowly helps you move and walk your bike. But it is worse, because it’s under full power! It feels as if it’s giving a pedal assist, even though I am off the bike and there is nothing pushing the pedals. Is it the sensor that thinks there is pressure on the pedals? Or a cable issue? Or controller? Will a full reset help?
