This is the Polestar 3!
We’ve waited four years for Polestar to release the successor to the Polestar 2, and what Mat has his hands on today is an SUV that has the likes of the BMW iX, Audi Q8 e-tron & Mercedes EQE SUV in its sights! But does it have what it takes to bring them down? Let’s take a closer look!
In terms of the design, the Polestar 3 looks great! Up front there’s no blanked out grille, with Polestar truly embrassing the fact that this is an EV from the ground-up. The sloping roofline also helps the car stand out on the road, and to be honest, we’d be hard-pressed to find a better looking all-electric SUV out there today!
When looking at the interior, it’s worth remembering that Polestar still has close ties with Volvo, so the 3 has a lot in common with the EX90. But whereas the EX90 is a seven seater, this will remain as a five seater only, so it means all passengers will have masses of room! There’s also a large infotainment screen in the centre of the dash (which runs Google’s operating system), and there’s a set of digital dials ofr the driver. The cabin is also filled with soft touch materials, and all-in-all is a nice place to be.
All editions of the Polestar 3 come equipped with a massive 111kWh battery, and there are single and dual motor models available. The single-motor edition can produce 299hp, and costs around £70,000. There are two editions of the dual motor car – one that can produce 489hp and costs around £76,000, while the range-topping Performance Pack produces 517hp and costs around £82,000.

Nope! I don't like it one bit. I got repulsed the moment I saw the pop up door handles and the buttonless dash. Come on… a touch screen to open your glove box! No thanks. Another Tesla stupidity vehicle. When will this era of cars end?

We can see Volvo/Polestar is starring a hole right through the heart of Land Rover. Dont think itll work but it's a good effort.
For nearly 100k pounds. I dunno. That interior looks nice for 50k. Add 20k for EV and i wouldnt pay more than 70k for it. It just doesnt shine or sparkle. It doesnt look overly expensive to command 6 figures. It's not an M. It's not a Range. It aint even Tesla.
How much will it cost to fix all these massive screens that control everything when they break?
If you can afford losing 30 or 40% of its value in first year go for it.

The polestar 3 top of the range version is over one millions SEK and the lowest is around 900k SEK… Who are their target audience?

Can you please review the Zeekr and xpeng.. and compare them to teslas? Im trying to find good videos but NO ONE talks about things like adaptive cruise controller, lane assist and what plan they have for autonomy.
They just sit and drive them while talking jargon to fill out the video..

Please talk about the Polestar's software issues … Polestar 2 still has issues even after you remove the charger car thinks that it is still being charged and refuses to move…. what a disaster… Polestar 3 have had lots of software bugs … with these bugs … its only worth 10K USD…..its shit..when it comes to software reliability.
Looks pretty good still a giant fastback slug but has nice detailing, imagine if the amount of effort the car industry put into designing into suv's they put back in saloons/coupes/convertibles if they were still in fashion.
With that level of enthusiasm you should be wearing your Polestar sponsored neck badges.
This car is ridiculously overprized. Energy consumption of Geely platforms is absurdly high and anybody paying a company this amount of money to get a car that calls "waiting half an hour for recharge" a FAST CHARGING System doesnt drive his car further than half the battery covers from his home. A BMW iX is miles ahead of this car and isnt even a new car.
