  1. I didn't get to see it live great race, solid recap really told the story. Feels like Innsbruck type worlds with this generation being so versatile might benefit from the style they have been going with closing circuits. Course thats not mvdp, wva, pidcock friendly is bit of shame like an Innsbruck. Sagan got to showcase a bit now Julian imo two best out and out racers/showmen of those years. Next few worlds appear that way. Pog might wait a while for course truly suiting him. Sorry sidetracked by those points great vid awesome route. Nuanced

  2. Sad to see Jimmy Whelan hasn’t been re-signed by EF. After two horror crashes, he showed promising form. Apparently Vaughters doesn’t even give a courtesy call to axed riders. Life on the word tour.

    Hope Shaw does well.

  3. I think the Ineos Car 'serviced' several non Ineos riders during the race. Probably because in these events not all of the riders have the luxury of such support to call on. Nice to see.

  4. Fred Wright was probably fairly confident in winning from this group, which is why he was closing down Tanfield’s moves. If he let Hayter back in then I think he wouldn’t have won, so he had no choice but to ride. Swift just played the perfect, I have a teammate behind card so I don’t have to cover these moves and saved just enough to come around Wright at the end, who I think is still a better rider. Sometimes it’s about being willing to lose to win.

  5. The Pros don't get aero cause they want to show how strong they are.. NO KIDDING.. They're saying that they're not concerned with conserving energy cause they have so much reserve.

  6. I remember a time where you would only see a few pros in this race. England has come a long way in the last 30 years as far as being competitive globally. You nailed the younger talent coming thru, they will win a lot 🤞 I hope. Thank you LR

  7. 1:19 unbelievable bike control; he is riding right on that very narrow "good lane" right next to crashing while likely pumping out lots power according to the bike movement.

  8. I would have to imagine that teams use these races to both sort out their teams and also see how other teams are sorting themselves as well. Obviously the Classics have their purpose but it is ALL about the Grand Tours.

  9. Having done the British Nat. champs, I can say that they are brutal. Sh** roads, narrow roads, always rain and the firepower that the Conti teams bring is insane.

They some allow Elites and Category 1 racers into these races which is how I got in 2017. Proud to say I got spat and basically called it a day on my cycling career and focused on the day job 😂
