The prison didn’t do their proper research on the man they allowed to be amongst knives, the man who got compensation deserves it because his life been drastically changed through prison negligence

These lawyer company's are a problem!! A car run in to the back of my car. My car was damaged and went through insurance my point is a day after the incident are started getting calls from these no win no fee company's I had maybe seven separate calls. I said it's OK the car is going in to be repaired iam not injured and was told go to the hospital and tell them you have a problem with your back or neck and we will be able to get you compensation I said but nothing wrong with me the company then said look we can put a claim in and for sure you will get a 5 k out of court settlement. I said no thankyou it's dishonest. Apparently it's a better prospect to settle out of court. I had no idea how these company's got my phone number.
To be honest screws back in the days kick your ass so 5 million I don't know why Sam is going on like they do No Harm themselves
I personally know pat Chandler. I was friends with the guy he was accussed of murdering too, John Comer. Many think Pat was innocent of the murder (i believe that too). Even some of johns close friends and family believe Pat was innocent, and many know who (presumably) actually commited the murder. I also know the victim of this Wilson character, he is also a friend of mine, (i have never met personally this wilson fella though). Ive heard this Wilson fella is a total scumbag, and he'll probably die from consumption of crack and smack, with his 5 million quid, so justice will probably be served. Also pat and Wilson's victim (i wont name him, because he is a straight go'er, and not criminally minded like the others involved), knew each other, so make of that what you will. Wilsons victim was set up for a robbery by a girl, and got battered and left for dead by Wilson and another fella, (just for a small amount of cash) so this Wilson fella does not deserve a penny IMO, certainly not 5 million quid of taxpayers money. This payout will only lead to scams happening in prison IMO, people will stab or maim each other on agreement, and end up splitting the money. What a waste of time this case is. This Wilson fella deserved everything that happenned to him, he is far from being a good citizen. He was, is, and always will be a scumbag, it's just now, he will be a rich scumbag. IMO, they should atleast let his victim have a cut of his money, he did get battered around the head with a hammer after all, and still suffers from terrible headaches to this day.
His victims need to step up
No inmate should be able to claim a penny
So who lets a murderer who killed somebody with a knife work in a kitchen with knives ? Not rocket science is it. These are the same kind of muppets who run the country !

I was under the impression that if you had a criminal record you couldn’t apply for compensation
So if it happened in the home or on the street I wouldn’t gotten anywhere near that amount of money! I’m shocked this isn’t at epidemic levels lol you set your family up for life on that wage

On a serious note a squaddie injured serving his country wouldn't get nowhere near that, even one of your colleagues or a plod wouldn't get that for being stabbed

Check out HMP Mancstan one , who couldn't mix with fellow Islamic prisoners , i just grin and smirk now , were a effin joke , from Millton keynes by way had killed 2 people in usual drug deal gone wrong per usual

Bit strange they allow a knife murderer to put others in a scarey situation.
I know people are put in prison for a good reason. But you aren't in there to made disabled for life. I think the compensation is justified.
I have a girlfriend was disabled after an accident. Even with some financial support. Her life will now be shortened and she requires home care. This also has an effect on me and destroys her family. My partner got a few years wages that she might not live to spend. If she can struggle through. We will struggle.
Even though he has £5 million. You cant buy your health and you don't want to the richest person in the graveyard.
Mr Samworth, when the bull** we currently endure is dealt with, I'm sure most of us would agree that men like you should be brought in to run an appropriate and functional prison system.

No convicted prisoner should be allowed to claim compensation, all rights should be forfeited on conviction. If remanded then found not guilty then that’s a different story. Falling out of bed and claiming compensation, put cameras in cells.
The £5m award is just nonsense, how would he have made that type of money without the injury???

1:50 see when you said it’s a legal requirement that you either have to attend education/work.
My last sentence I begged for a job on remand so they knew when I was sentenced to give me a job.
I got left to rot and was never told to go on education. If I’m ever again is it worth saying to them I’ll contact my lawyer about it.
Nothing worse doing a sentence & not being able to work.

I'm more concerned with the 100s of millions our politicians send abroad to dictators as well as the billions we lose to black holes.
At the end of the day the prison service should have followed usually procedures and known the kind of risk this prisoner would pose , and especially only 24 days in to a LIFE sentence . I’ve served sentences n the kitchens is a good job to have in prison and after what Mr Sandwirth just said the prison system seriously messed up so whatever he got compensation is fair cos like I say there’s procedures etc to prevent this kind of thing . Also medium risk or not due to his offended n short time served he usually wouldn’t have a job placement yet and definitely not one with access to sharp objects

I no someone who robbed a house got done for burglary went to peterbough nick got 18months got stabbed up sued the prison for 270 grand absolute madness he come straight out got a hair transplant teeth done covered himself in tattoos brought a 30 grand boat still lives in a bed sit and walks around the town like he owes the place looking down his cocaine beak at everyone but we all no what he done priceless absolute clown 🤡 he is

While I was in doing remand the NHS failed to give me my life saving medication for nearly a week as a result I got a DVT in my leg and had to get surgery was accompanied with screws while in they seen the operation etc as a result 4 years later I lost my leg should I have put in a claim or would it have been a waste of time excellent videos btw
