  1. Tübingen was seriously a HUGE surprise for me! I never knew what to expect from such a city but it left an unforgettable impression on me nevertheless! 🤩 We’re currently on Day 10 of the Camper Tour and we’ve visited Rosenheim and FINALLY made our way to München for Oktoberfest!! The vlogs are gonna be INSANE! So stay tuned! Which camper tour vlog was your favorite so far? And what places in Germany should I visit after the Camper Tour?

  2. This guy drives me crazy. He spokes always from the beautiful city of Nördlingen, and yesterday he puplished a "short" from Nördlingen, and today he's in Tübingen? Don't get me wrong please, I'm neither from Trier, Tübingen nor from Nördlingen, it's not even near. But I was curios to see Nördlingen, not Tübingen.

  3. Hi, James! We`ve got so much cities and villages that look quite similar to this old town of Tübingen, for example Linz am Rhein, Monschau (in der Eifel), Limburg an der Lahn and so much more! You haven`t seen Heidelberg yet, Rothenburg Op der Tauber, Schwäbisch Hall.
Also along the river Rhein behind, Köln und Bonn, Königswinter with the Siebengebirge (right side of the Rhein), Remagen (left side of the Rhein) till Rüdesheim (left side) along all the castles and fortresses. Also very good for the next time would be eastern Germany at the baltic sea (Rostock-Warnemünde, Stralsund, Wismar and the island of Rügen). And of course Dresden.

  4. The university of Tübingen is one of the oldest in Germany and was founded in 1477 AD around the same time as the universities of Heidelberg (actually the oldest) and of Freiburg. The town itself is even older and was a settlement of Celts already, Alamannians later – human settlement can be dated back to the late stone age here.
While Tübingen was affected by only a few air raids the nearby town of Reutlingen – being an important industrial centre of that region – was heavily destoyed during WWII. After WWII it was part of the French occupation zone and for some time the capital of Württemberg-Hohenzollern, ie the south-eastern part of Baden-Württemberg (Stuttgart was part of the American occupation zone; both former independent countries, Baden and Württemberg, were divided by occupation zones of France and the USA). It is still the administrative centre of of the administrative region Tübingen which is covering the districts and towns of the South-East of Baden-Württemberg – including Kreis/district Ravensburg where I live.
Parts of the coat of arms of the town of Tübingen can be found in the coat of arms of Tettnang, Langenargen and also of Weiler, Feldkirch and the country of Vorarlberg in Vorarlberg/Austria. That's because in early medieval times Tübingen was part of the possessions of the dukes of Montfort.

  5. Staying most of the video on a parking area on a playground and in boring administrative buildings is hardly the right thing in order to show this wonderful city Tübingen, isn`t it?

  6. As you are so mindblown by the inside of those buildings, you might want to tour a real Burg or castle from the inside. Maybe better a burg because I think often castles won't allow filming inside.

  8. In Cologne we have playgrounds 10 times as extreme as this one. Even grown ups are scared of those intense slides in Cologne. In the US it would never be rated safe what we do to our kids and you always thought America is the extreme country and Germany old school conservative?😂

  9. 29:40 mainly true, but a bit exaggerated. First efforts in building and development of the idea have already been made in the early 30 and earlier, including test-tracks or first steps of the Italian "highway"-system. And of course it got expanded upon after the war, but I'd say that's probably self explanatory. But building the Autobahn surely has been a great benefit for Germany and still is today.

  10. It's so coool to see you going to all the places I've been to often, like…for me its just a town close to me nothing special but seeing
you talk so highly about it is cool haha.

  11. I was born in the neighboring town of Reutlingen and lived there for many years. And although there is a certain rivalry between Reutlingen and Tübingen as to which city is better/better/more beautiful, I have to say: it's Tübingen. Definitely. If anyone says otherwise, I'll just say one word: Stadthalle.

  12. hitler hat die autobahn nicht erfunden, er hat den prozess des baus nur stark voran gebracht

"hitler build the Autobahn" he pushed it but he didn't had the idea
