  1. This show gave off a similar type of anxiety inducing energy as the Adam Sandler movie Uncut Gems.
The first two episodes had me pacing around in a maddened state at Freddie’s unhinged decision making.
Easy to binge and a must watch from me.
Also, the sound of that f**k off sounding somewhat like a chickens bawking, was magnificent

  2. Best scene in the whole series. Not lost on me that Tommy did a better chicken impression instantly when a gun is pointed right at him than Freddie had been attempting for ages lol. Also… "I just wanna see BEEEERD" was the most scouse thing I've ever heard!! Legend.

  3. “The remedy is in the poison “

Just purely watch. Then watch it again.

As I see it, this was actually hard but necessary help for Freddy.

Freddy behaved as a chicken in a human body up to this point. However, his misplaced pride and ego(the false self) bristled at the idea of acting like a chicken!

Even Ms. Glass recognized this & told the Duke “Stay out of this.”
This humiliation ritual was to force his false self to die in order to see the reality of his character and subsequent behavior as equal to that of an animal, particularly, a chicken!

    What a PROFOUND scene!

A masterpiece from every part of this scene’s creation!

  4. The scousers absolutely smashed it in the series especially this scene I’ve not been on edged since “The Wire” and the “Prison Break” they portrayed the scousers real well! Amazing acting loved Tommy’s aggression and jethros innocents and quick whited mind it’s a shame that tart ended him off behind the dukes back 😅
