Is this bike on FB worth $170? Can’t find how much it was MSRP(Schwinn pathway 700c) also would it be appropriate for a 3 mile commute?

I have a 2.5 mile commute to work and am tired of ubering every day for $8 each way. Thought buying a bike would help me save some extra money until I can get a car. Any thoughts?
