Over, Gloucester, to Alney Island Nature Reserve

    September 15, 2024

On a very bright day I decided to visit this small island, where the River Severn separates and reconnects in north Gloucester. This island is a nature reserve, a place of many old bridges as well as new, a haven for unusual wildlife, and a maze of cycle paths, public footpaths and green fields.
