  1. Mmm. Interesting that Leeds pulled out of the WTSC circuit a couple of years ago, when their event was extremely popular and also included a British Super Series event as well as TS2, TS3, Youths and adult sprint the day before the pros. So over the course of the weekend you had everyone racing there from 11 year-olds to pros. It was really a central piece of the UK racing calendar. Apparently because the council thought it was too expensive. Call me nostalgic, but I am a bit sad that they have given up that legacy to host IM instead. Nothing against IM, but it isn't about growing the grassroots of triathlon the way the Leeds Triathlon Festival did.
