Hi folks, looking for some guidance I've not been able to get a clear idea from elsewhere. I bought a Topeak uni super tourist dx (disc) pannier rack for my Genesis Flyer for commuting. As you can hopefully see from the photos the sections that screw to the bike need to be pulled apart by about 2cm for it to fit. This is easy enough to do but I'm wondering if stretching it is bad and I should have got a different size (if so what measurement am I trying to work from on specs etc?) or if it's normal and I just need to manhandle it a bit?
