I finally pulled the trigger and got this beauty. Stock specs for now – 105 Di2, carbon giant wheels and seatpost, alu stem and handlebar, giant 32mm tires.
I came to the conclusion that I won't be able stick to the front of local group rides, but I like to spend long hours on the bike and veer off the smooth tarmac once in a while, so that's why I got the Defy instead more of a race bike.
In the future I'm thinking of deeper wheels for riding in those group rides (and for the bling) and better tires too, of course. Maybe narrower handlebar. It's the same width as my previous bike, but I was thinking of changing that too. Aside from that, the bike is great as it is.
