Update: New bike day! Kind of… I went with a Salsa Cassidy C for my bike. I took 15% off of an already great deal for damage that happened during shipping.

I decided to pull the trigger on Salsa Cassidy C SLX. The deal was too good to pass up.

It got shipped with a chip and scratch but they did not have any replacements so I took 15% off. It sat in my office while I worked all week waiting to hear back from the shop. I took it to a couple of local bike shops and everyone said it did not look like there was any frame damage.

Originally I did not want carbon but the components on the carbon seemed way better. I wasn't psyched about the color but in person I really like it. I got to take it out today! Rides GREAT!!
