I'm looking at a Shimano Nexus 5E (SG-C7000-5V) i.e. non di2 and V-brakes. But I have learnt that it is not just buy one simple kit with Shimano IHGs. I'm looking at replacing a very old Nexus 8
I desperately need guidance on what I need to order up to the cassette joint excluding the cable and cable clamp bolt and beyond.
I have the following already:
ITEM 26. Non turn washers
ITEM 25. Axel nuts
I will purchase the following:
ITEM 1. IHG itself – SG-C7000-5V
ITEM 30. Cassette joint kit CJ-C7000-5/Y7ZP98010 (which includes items 31, 32, 33,)
ITEM 28. 24T sprocket
What I am confused about is the items highlighted in red, do I buy them separately or are they included with the IHG already?
ITEM 17. Right hand dust cap A with seal
ITEM 18. Right hand dust cap C
ITEM 29. Snap ring
