As the title suggests, I'm looking to buy a new gravel bike, and I'm torn between the Canyon Grizl 7 and the Scott Speedster Gravel 30 99spokes. Obviously, the Canyon comes with better components, but for some reason, I feel drawn to the Scott (maybe because I've watched too many Safa Brian videos).
However, according to 99spokes, the Scott is pretty underwhelming compared to the Canyon at a similar price point… not sure how the 99spokes comparison works, but the Scott's frame gets a score of 2.8, which seems low.
- I've been riding a Giant Roam for 3 years.
- I'm looking to transition to a drop-bar gravel bike.
- I usually take long weekend rides, exploring new terrain at first, then pushing for longer, faster rides the next time.
