For centuries, there has been a society hidden in plain sight, working in secret to protect Black people from harm. It’s called THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MAGICAL NEGROES.

An official selection of Sundance 2024, from writer/director Kobi Libii. Only in theaters March 15.

  1. White people, this is a movie starring African Americans, made for African Americans. Step aside, stay in your lane and let them enjoy it in theaters without you there, no matter how much you want to go see this excellent film. Don't culturally appropriate and take up a seat in a theater that could, and should, go to an African American.

  2. Wow 117k dislikes. Has to be the caucasiods however why worry about something that “perceive” us when they don’t exist. If a “thing” can perceive US we’d be treated differently because they know WHO we are but WE as a People don’t even know who we are. Their perception is to uphold the manifestation of racial identity with hopes of us conforming without authoritative assumptions. Since they oughta get technical imma just say as is and that’s that Black isn’t a ethnicity whilst White is a status founded upon racist ideologies. The devil fell for a reason he can keep “Earth” n all their lies and gate-kept knowledge

  3. Which person with at least one brain cell still functioning will seriously watch this disgusting, propagandistic, racist shit in the cinema or spend money on it after watching this incredible trailer?

    🤢 🤢 🤢

    Well done, Hollywood.

From now on I no longer have to buy laxatives in case I ever get constipated again.

  4. I think they want racists to stay considering they don’t mind putting the word magical negroes in the tittle 😂😂😂😂😂 I’m actually crying rn😭😭😭😭🤷🏼‍♂️😅 I’m white and ima watch movie 🍿

  5. I don’t think i have seen a movie so racist its almost like thats what they were trying to go for and if so good job and if it wasn’t well then they should get better film producers and better directors

  6. Damn this is the reason why this movie was created, one can almost the feel the nuclear-weapon-like discomfort of white folks in this comment section, they are about to blow out the whole youtube

  7. The "magical negro" stereotype is a common trope in cinema and literature where a Black character possesses extraordinary abilities or supernatural powers that help or teach the main white characters.

These Black characters are merely instruments for the growth of the white protagonists. This is not a matter of mere opinion but a fact present in the history of cinema and literature, widely used during the early 20th century.

In turn, the idea of this film making a joke about this stereotype might be interesting.

Will the film be good or bad? Only time will tell, but the concept is intriguing.

  8. honestly the world would be a better place if more people were like the main character whatever his name is. I'm not going to watch the movie I just like to imagine a world where you don't have to worry about people attacking your because of the colour of your skin. wack.

  9. What in the Hell is this?? Aww right, this movie was thought of, founded, and created in Hell. They dont even care anymore. Please accept our Hell-ywood movie!

  10. Wow black people are proud of their own racism. The one thing you can at least say about the original american racist is they didn't know any better. Black people these days can't say that. Said
