1-Alton Towers Resort (often shortened to Alton Towers) is a theme park and resort complex in Staffordshire, England, near the village of Alton The park is operated by Merlin Entertainments Group and incorporates a theme park, water park, mini golf and hotel complex.
Originally a private estate of the Earls of Shrewsbury, Alton Towers’ grounds were opened to the public in 1860 to raise funds.[4] In the 1970s, a few rides were added and some of the themed areas were developed. Inspired by Disneyland, it was transformed into a theme park in 1980 with the installation of its first roller coaster and several new rides. The park has many attractions such as Congo River Rapids, Runaway Mine Train, Nemesis Reborn, Oblivion, Galactica, The Smiler, Wicker Man, Rita and TH13TEEN. It operates a total of ten roller coasters and offers a range of accommodation and lodging options alongside the theme park. Facilities include Alton Towers Waterpark, Alton Towers Conference Centre and Extraordinary Golf.
The theme park is open seasonally from mid-March to early November, whilst many of its hotels and amenities are open year-round. Special events are hosted throughout the year, including Alton Towers Scarefest (the park’s Halloween event), Oktoberfest, Fireworks, and Christmas.

2- Manor Farm Fruits is situated in the picturesque village of Hints in Staffordshire, just 3 miles from Tamworth and 6 miles from Lichfield.
The farm has been owned and run by the Clarke family for the last three generations and is one of Staffordshire’s longest established soft fruit growers.
With a total of 55 acres of soft fruit, Manor Farm Fruits has 17 acres of strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and blackberries designated specifically for ‘Pick-Your-Own’ during the summer months as well as selling ready picked blueberries and rhubarb.
We pride ourselves in growing fruit of the highest quality and grow a wide range of varieties of both strawberries and raspberries offering subtle differences in both flavour and appearance and we’re sure you’ll agree that the mouth-watering and sweet flavour of English strawberries just can’t be beaten!
Additionally, we now grow thousands of pumpkins, squashes and gourds for our annual Pumpkin Fest in October which has now been running for the last six years.

3-Weston-super-Mare has everything you’d expect from an archetypal Victorian English seaside resort, including a pier, a promenade, donkey rides, fish and chips shops, amusements galore and a vast stretch of fine golden sand.
The main beach area lies south of The Grand Pier and during the summer season visitors flock here to sunbathe, build sandcastles and partake in all the traditional Great British seaside activities. The Uphill Sands section of the beach is partitioned off for kitesurfing and other watersports.
From the beach there are views across Weston Bay towards Wales, and south towards Exmoor.
The promenade, which runs along the 2-mile stretch between Royal Sands and Marine Lake has been significantly redeveloped in recent years and is perfect for strolling along or even cycling. Visitors who want to take in the views but don’t fancy the walk can take the Weston Land Train, which runs from Royal Sands or from the Victoria Café to Knightstone Island.
The Bristol Channel has a tidal range of 14.5 metres, making it the second highest in the world. When the tide is in the water can come all the way up to the pier. At low tide a wide expanse of dangerous mudflats are exposed. Visitors must on no account attempt to reach the sea at low tide. If planning a dip in the sea here, despite the absence of any lifeguard, it is a good idea to check tide times in advance.
Dogs are not allowed on the section of beach between The Grand Pier and Royal Sands from the start of May until the end of September, but are welcome at other times of year.
The town of Weston-super-Mare itself, with all its amenities, is only a short walk. Here you will find numerous tourist attractions including a helicopter museum, an aquarium and a good variety of seaside rides and amusements.
