Coming from the mountain bike world, I’ve been skeptical of electric shifting, but I’m over the moon with this shimano 105 Di2. It truly is the group set of the people, I’ve liked it so much I’ve decided to make the bike match: 105 pedals and 105 wheels to really round out the whole thing.
Really enjoying the 105 rims, people don’t typically run deep section wheels where I live because the winds are typically north-south while all the roads are east-west, but the 46mm depth has been awesome. Haven’t noticed that I get blown around, especially compared to the frame bag on my gravel bike, that thing might as well be a sail.
