I really don’t know much about bike components. It sure does look pretty though lol.
I bike to work but my commute is super short, 1.25 miles each way, and sometimes I’ll bike to the store which ends up being about a mile each way too. So I’m really not going that far, but who knows maybe I’ll start going further when I have a better bike than my current one (a <$100 Walmart mountain bike my dad found on a curb… lol). I’m getting impatient about a diff bike bc I love commuting and that bike does the job but it’s not that pleasant to ride considering how badly it shifts and it’s hard to pedal up hills bc of the grippy MB tires and all the suspension weight. I do like the handlebars on the bianchi, I tend to like to hunch over rather than ride upright all the time.
I’m deciding between this and probably another secondhand, 1999 recently serviced Jamis Citizen hybrid bike that’s both cheaper ($140) and is closer to me to pick up which is super nice. Lmk if this Bianchi is def worth it over that though despite the price diff and that it might be a little annoying to pick up, consider what I said about my level of riding since I have no clue. I don’t have a lot of money but I’m willing to spend up to $250 total on a used bike, so the bianchi is hitting the limit.
