I have a very weird problem with the original campagnolo dust cap, that won’t fit anymore on the crank.
Just a Short summary how this occurred:
My bottom bracket broke, so I replaced it with e a new one (exact same NOS campagnolo triomphe 70-ss). But when I tried to screw on the dust caps, I previously screwed of, they wouldn’t fit anymore.
I can’t even get them to grip the thread properly.
Even when they grip something it’s not straight.
Did anyone made this experience before and did you solve it?
English isn’t my first language, excuse me if I explained something weird.
