hi all, just bought a used look ergostem off of marketplace and found what looks like a crack when i started to paint it. any advice on how to deal with this situation? i know that cracks on stems are normally the last word but seeing as this is steel and the crack is shallow ~ it doesnt fully penetrate the clamp ~ do i have any options as far as filing out the crack or brazing/welding? quite a pricey bit of gear so would like to save it if possible. thanks for your thoughts!
