From August 7 to 11, 2024, we made a bike trip across Germany, covering 243 km. Thanks to Andrei Borodkin for organizing the trip and Eugen Taran and Ilya Babich for good company! We started from Prague in the evening and went to Erlangen by bus. On the first night, we stayed in the Hotel Grille. The next day, we started our real journey. Erlangen – Forchheim – Bamberg. We returned from Bamberg to Erlangen by train and from Erlangen to Fürth by bicycle. The next night, we stayed at Das SP Hotel. 72.1 km.
The next day Fürth – Nuremberg – Schwaig bei Nürnberg – Lauf an der Pegnitz – Reichenschwand – Hersbruck. 63.5 km. That night, we stayed in camp.
August 10, 2024. 50.6 km. Etzelwang – Sulzbach-Rosenberg – Amberg – Rieden. The camp had a big water pool. 🙂 The advantage of a tent is that you can see the sky, and at that time, we saw the Perseid meteors.
August 11, 2024. The last day of our trip. 56.6 km. Reiden – Schmidmühlen – Dietldorf – Traidendorf – Kallmünz – Pielenhofen – Regensburg. We traveled from Regensburg by train and by bus.
